Saturdays in May - Birding walks, 8-10 a.m., park office. Tiadaghton Audubon Society members will lead walks. Bring binoculars and wear subdued clothing and sturdy shoes. If weather is inclement, the group may opt for a driving tour with several key stops.

May 19 - Step Outdoors Springfest, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Activities include kayaking, canoeing, geocaching, birding displays, self-guided hikes, kids biking loop, kids' crafts and kids' fishing. Free.

Lyman Run State Park, Galeton

May 19 - Children's Fishing Derby, 9 a.m.- 2p.m. This event is for children ages 12 and under. Will be held in the specially designated fishing area below the dam spillway.
