At a hearing later this month, Jersey Shore School District Superintendent Richard J. Emery will face charges that include driving under the influence of alcohol.

Emery, 50, of Milton, faces two misdemeanor charges, including driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content of 0.16 or above, and three summary offenses following a traffic stop by state police in Turbot Township on April 30.

When asked about the incident Tuesday evening, Emery responded, "I have no comment on that situation at this time."

Emery's preliminary hearing will be held before District Judge Richard P. Cashman, of Sunbury, at 9 a.m. on May 30.
