Wyomissing defeated South Williamsport, 5-0, in the first round of the PIAA State Tennis Tournament at the Hersey Racquet Club on Tuesday. Ricardo Saad won the number one singles match over Maria Cioffi, 6-1, 6-0 to lead Wyomissing.
Also in the first round, Lewisburg fell to Lancaster Country Day, 3-1. Lancaster Country Day moved on to face Harriton in the quarterfinals on Friday.
