Ecumenical luncheon
United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday Jordan and Kate Egli will be the speakers and discuss their work Greater Europe Mission and their call to plant churches in France. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Reservations are not needed, but is helpful for those who do not attend regularly to call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
Devotion line
The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Sandy Grier. Grier is a member of Church of the Savior Lutheran, 522 Grier St.
