The Williamsport Crosscutters unveiled their 2012 slate of promotions for the club's 38-game home schedule on Thursday. The 2012 home opener is scheduled for Monday, June 18 as the Crosscutters host the State College Spikes. That game will feature a schedule magnet giveaway for the first 2,500 fans plus loads of opening night festivities.
Again this season, the Cutters will have special "day of the week" promotions.
Mondays will again be designated "Military Monday" where all active and retired military personnel get a free admission ticket when they show their military ID at the box office.
Wednesdays feature "Back-to-Back Cracks." If the Cutters hit back-to-back homers in the game, a fan will win $10,000.
Thursdays see the return of "Thirsty Thursday". From 6-8 p.m. fans can enjoy pint beer specials and 2 for 1 selected soft drinks.
Fridays feature "Happy Hour" from 6-7 p.m. Fans can enjoy pint beer specials and 2 for 1 selected soft drinks along with free popcorn.
Sundays all fans age 18 and over can play "Baseball Bingo" to win great prizes and after every Sunday game all Cutters fans 12 and under can come on the field and run the bases in "Boomer's Mad Dash."
Visiting entertainers include The Utility Man on July 13, Infatamaniacs on July 20, Cowboy Monkey Rodeo on July 23, the Phillie Phanatic on Aug. 1, and antique appraiser Dr. Lori on Aug. 18.
