MANSFIELD - The annual Mansfield University Service Recognition Program was held April 26.
Employees who have served MU for 10, 15, 20, 25, 35 and 40 years were honored.
Faculty were recognized by academic year. People who have retired or will be retiring through summer 2012 were also recognized.

Employees who have retired or officially announced they will retire: Joseph Chapel, Michael Crum, Thomas Elsasser, Benjamin Jones, John Kingsley, Susan Krieger, Lou Labuski-Brown, Maravene Loeschke, Christopher Vaughn.
Also at the recognition event, Kathy Wright, professor of Nutrition in the Department of Health Sciences, was named Employee of the Year. Wright also co-chairs MU's Middle States Accreditation Steering Committee.
The Employee Recognition Committee selected Wright after a campus-wide nomination process. Russell Dodson, professor of geography and geology and chair of the department, and Dennis Murray, professor of psychology and chair of the department, were also nominated.
The Campus Technologies Department received the Spotlight Award, which is given annually to a department that exemplifies the four facets of the Mansfield Creed: Character, Scholarship, Culture and Service. The winner was decided after a campus-wide nomination process.
The Campus Technologies Department staff consists of Alan Johnson, Brad Stettler, Cliff Wiles, Derek Furry, Herb Frank, Holly Correll, John Maslar, Kim Hulslander, Loren McNett, Mark Polonia, Matt Reed, Melanie Seymour, Phil Ogden, Suzanne Murphy, Tamela Bastion, Todd Seibert, Tom Wilson, Wendi Route and William Tuttle.
