District office names
April's employee
Audrey Costill, clerk for the print room, plans room and supply room, has been named the state Department of Transportation district office employee of the month for May 2012.
Costill, a news release said, consistently does her job efficiently, and in the past year or so she absorbed the work of another position that had been assigned in that area. She takes her job responsibilities seriously and performs her duties competently. According to the news release, Costill often goes beyond the call of duty - delivering prints and publications to folks when time permits.
Costill fills many requests for right-of-way information and often receives accolades from those she helps for her efficient and comprehensive responses.
In the supply room she does an excellent job of keeping her inventory filled and up-to-date. She keeps her supply room and other areas of responsibility organized and well-managed, while maintaining good records.
Costill, a 13-year PennDOT employee, lives in Montgomery with her daughter, Stephanie, and grandson, Caleb.
Lawyer joins
regional law firm
David Wilk has joined the personal injury law section of Lepley, Engelman & Yaw, LLC. His civil litigation will concentrate in the areas of auto, truck and motorcycle accidents; workers' compensation; slip and fall; and serious injury and death cases.
Lepley, Engelman & Yaw has offices in Williamsport, Lewisburg and Canton and serves a 20-county area.
Wilk earned his juris doctorate from the Syracuse College of Law in 1992 where he graduated cum laude. He also graduated cum laude from Lycoming College in 1989. He was law clerk to Judge Clinton W. Smith in the Court of Common Pleas, Lycoming County from 1992 to 1994. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1992.
Wilk is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Lycoming Law Association and serves on the board of directors of Brandon Little League Baseball. His personal injury law practice will encompass more than counties served by the firm.
Employee of month
for construction firm
Aaron Wright recently was recognized as the March Employee of the Month at Construction Specialties, Inc. in Muncy. Recently, Wright was presented with a monumental assignment that required both knowledge and innovation in order to complete. His skills, hard work, and dedication to the EFS division at the firm provided the customer with what they needed to get the job done, a news release said.
Wright's dedication to Construction Specialties and EFS, the news release said, is unprecedented and the company thanks him for his eagerness and enthusiasm.
