Eveyn Konyar, 5, of Windsor Mill, Md., caught this 16-inch palomino in White Deer Hole Creek on May 14 during the annual youth fishing derby sponsored by the White Deer Valley Sportsmen Club. The young angler received the first-place prize of a free mount jointly donatedby the sportsmen’s club and Andy’s Taxidermy Studio, of Williamsport. Eveyn is the grandson of Kim and Monica Konyar, of Hughesville.
