MORRIS RUN - A 34-year-old woman was seriously injured in a hit and run crash that happened during the early morning hours of May 17.
Angela Short, of Blossburg, was struck by a stolen road sign post sticking out of a vehicle's passenger side window as it passed her while she was walking along Matreski Street in Hamilton Township around 2:30 a.m., state police said.
The driver of the vehicle continued through an intersection, hit a stop sign, drove into a ditch and then fled the scene.
Short was transported to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre where she remained in fair condition Monday.
Police continue to investigate and ask that anyone with information call them at 662-2151.
