Announcement has been made of the engagement of Jamie Reed, Cogan Station, and Max Houseknecht Jr., Bethlehem.
A June 22, 2013, wedding at Heshbon Park United Methodist Church is being planned.
Reed is the daughter of Martha and James Reed, Cogan Station. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in reading from Lock Haven University in 2008. She is employed as a substitute teacher in the Williamsport Area School District and part time at Wegmans.

Houseknecht is the son of Angie and Max Houseknecht, South Williamsport. He graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in accounting and management information systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2008. He is employed as a front end manager at Wegmans on special assignment as a labor pro team manager in Bethlehem.
