New Columbia teen in critical condition after Sunday crash

May 29, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

DEWART - A 17-year-old New Columbia boy was in critical condition with major injuries he suffered when his car and another driven by Linda L. Shutt, 60, also of New Columbia, collided on Route 405, just north of River Road about 10:30 p.m. Sunday night, state police said.

The teen, whose identity was not released because of his age, was admitted to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Shutt, along with a 17-year-old female passenger, also were taken to Geisinger, where they were treated for moderate injuries, police said. A 5-month-old baby girl, riding in Shutt's vehicle in a child safety seat, suffered minor injuries, police said.
