The other side

Let ye without sin, cast the first stone...

In reference to Mr. Richard Emery, I am writing on behalf of myself, and my Son, J. Cruiz Martin, now 21.

My son was diagnosed in kindergarten, with Type 1 Diabetes, and later epilepsy. At that time Jersey Shore didn't have a full-time nurse. With 3 other diabetics in Cruiz' class, it was more than anyone can imagine.... Simply put, my son, nor I, could have made it without Mr. Emery.

I don't condone the issue at hand, but he has every ounce of respect and admiration we can muster for all of the countless ways he made my son's days, and school life, tolerable. I support him and send best wishes to his family, now and always. One mistake, does not define anyone's life.
