Lycoming County Judge Dudley N. Anderson denied bail Thursday for Heather K. Houseweart, 38, of 2344 W. Fourth St., while she appeals a guilty verdict of aggravated assault and simple assault a jury found against her on March 1.
Anderson sentenced Houseweart to three to six years in state prison for her role in the beating of another woman March 26, 2011 in the restroom of the Eagles Club, 307 E. Third St.
Police said the victim, Jill Kinley, was found on the floor in the restroom after she, Houseweart and third woman got into an argument over money that Houseweart claimed was owed to her by Kinley.
Kinley suffered a broken arm and torn ligaments in her leg during the fracas.
