Disrespectful

June 9, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

I'm sick and tired of people disrespecting our beautiful environment. As I take buckets with me to Lycoming Creek, pick up trash from high water and most of all, people who can't seem to respect their surroundings, I become more and more disgusted. Then coming out onto our patio overlooking the creek, we watch people who enjoy floating down in their kayaks throwing empty cans into the creek.

If the cans are full when they start and they can carry them to the water, then why can't they take them with them since they're a lot lighter when they're empty? It's because these people are scumbags who don't respect themselves so therefore don't respect their surroundings. The neighborhood is watching for you now and will be taking pictures of you littering whether you're fishing or floating in a kayak, smile when coming down Lycoming creek. You'll never know when you'll be in a picture!!! Then you can pay the littering fine of Pennsylvania. If you can buy a kayak, you'll be able to pay the fine.
