Eleanor V. Moffitt, 68, of 100 Short St., Lock Haven, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, in the Manor Care Health Center in Jersey Shore.
Born Jan. 3, 1944, in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of Scott R. Milton and the former Ruth V. Turner.
She enjoyed playing cards and games with her family and friends. For many years she was a member of the Jersey Shore Eagles Club. She also enjoyed riding horses and playing pool.
Eleanor is survived by three sons, Robert R. (Brenda) Smith of Avis, Teddy W. Smith of Jersey Shore and Terry P. (Lisa) Smith of Jersey Shore; four grandchildren, Cody Smith, Danielle Smith, Sarina Bower and Derek Smith; also seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Hershel E. Milton of Jersey Shore; and one sister, Kay Miller of Glendale Springs, N.C.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 8, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Friends may call from 9 a.m. Friday until time of services in the funeral home. Dr. Nathan Carpenter will officiate. Burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
