Yard, craft sale
MILLVILLE - Katys Church will host a yard, antique and craft sale at 2952 Route 42, the former Hotel Iola, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Food will be available. Vendors still are being accepted. To reserve a space or for more info, call 441-5416. The event will help the church raise funds for the continued restoration of the historical 1869 church.

Pancake breakfast
St. Matthew Church, 2233 Linn St., will hold an all-you-can-meet pancake breakfast from 7-10 a.m. featuring pancakes, two eggs to order, three pieces of bacon or sausage, coffee or tea and juice. Cost is $7 for adults, $4.50 for children under 12 and those under 6 eat free.
Strawberry Festival
McELHATTAN - McElhattan United Methodist Church, McElhattan Drive, will hold a strawberry festival and chicken and waffle dinner from 4-7 p.m. The menu includes chicken and waffles, mashed potatoes, vegetable, cole slaw and drinks plus strawberry desserts. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6-12 and free for those under 6. Take-outs available, The bake room will be open.
Movie night
SALLADASBURG - Salladasburg United Methodist Church, Main Street, will hold movie night at 8 p.m. There will be snacks provided and the movie will start when it gets dark enough. The movie will be outside unless there is inclement weather. The movie is "Courageous." Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

FARRAGUT - Farragut Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Route 864 near the intersection with Route 87, will hold its annual strawberry ice cream festival from 4:30-7 p.m.

Kingdom Force coming
ROARING BRANCH - Mt. Zion Retreat Center and Zion Fellowship will hold Kingdom Force for youth at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Kingdom Force is a team of Elim Bible Institute graduates who minister under the direction of the EBI Ministry Department. The team travels throughout the U.S. and Canada ministering in churches, schools, colleges, camps, special events and conferences utilizing worship, preaching, drama and service to challenge teens and adults to live radically for Jesus Christ. New pastor installation
Vicar Gary Shumway will be ordained today in the Weber Chapel at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove and he will be installed as the pastor at St. James Lutheran Church in Rauchtown.
