Ex-employee accused of burglary, theft
A former employee of the Who's Inn Bar on Route 654 in Susquehanna Township has been arrested on charges of allegedly breaking into the business and stealing about $370 overnight April 14, state police said.
Seth E. Fisher, 20, a resident of the Timberland Apartments, has been charged with burglary, felony trespassing, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
On probation for a prior burglary conviction, Fisher was employed at the bar for less than four weeks earlier this year, police said.
Already incarcerated on a probation violation, Fisher was recommitted to the Lycoming County Prison after District Judge James H. Sortman set bail at $20,000.
Man allegedly stole TV from department store
A Muncy Township man has been arrested on charges of stealing a TV and computer equipment from Wal-Mart in Montoursville on June 1, according to borough police.
Raymond C. Schrogham, 35, of 971 Pond Road, allegedly took the $928 worth of merchandise to his home, where police soon recovered it.
Following his arraignment before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley on a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting, Schrogham was committed to the Lycoming County Prison.
He has since been released on $5,000 bail.
Serial shoplifter nabbed again, police say
PENNSDALE - A 21-year-old woman who already has two shoplifting convictions has been arrested now for the third such offense after she fled the Bon-Ton at the Lycoming Mall with $508 worth of merchandise on May 18, according to Muncy Township police.
Taralese Renee Mallory, of Berwick, was arraigned last week before District Judge Jon E. Kemp on a felony charge of shoplifting, receiving stolen property and possession of an instrument of crime. She was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $12,000 bail.
