I have not forgotten about Mr. Emery, the superintendendent of the Jersey Shore School District.
When I was the principal of one of the schools in the district, there was a districtwide administrators inservice for the several school districts. It was held at the JSASD administration office in Jersey Shore.
When I got there, there were already many attendees from all over. They were sitting at big roundtables with their colleagues from the same school district.
So I walked over to the big table where the Jersey Shore administrators were sitting.
They told me that there was no room for me. So I sat alone next to the big roundtable.
Mr. Emery went over and sat with me. We sat together for the rest of the inservice.
I have not forgotten.
