A city man was arrested at his home Monday afternoon and jailed on sex offenses involving two female minors, city police said.
Shawn Rasheen Webb, 36, formerly of the 600 block of Campbell Street and now living at 957 High St., faces four counts of rape, six counts of indecent assault, one count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and two counts each of endangering the welfare of a child and corrupting the morals of minor.
Police said the two victims, whose ages were not released, were each assaulted on three occasions at different locations between 2004 and 2010.
Webb was arraigned before District Judge Allen P. Page III about 4:15 p.m. His mother also was present.
"He's welcome at home. I will always be there for him no matter what," the unidentified woman told the judge. Webb was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
