A second brother has been charged in connection with a March 25 break-in at the Loyalsock Hotel on Route 87 in Fairfield Township, according to state police.
Devin Charles Beamer, 25, of 97 Funston Ave., waived his preliminary hearing last week before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman on charges of burglary, felony trespassing, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief for his alleged involvement in the burglary.
An estimated $650 of liquor, cigarettes and assorted cash were stolen from the business, police said. Just hours after the burglary, six bottles of liquor and 26 packs of cigarettes were recovered from 4192 Route 87, Fairfield Township, where Beamer was living with a friend at the time, police said.
Beamer remains jailed in the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail. His brother, Seth, 23, of Hughesville, surrendered to authorities in March to face the same charges. He is free on bail.
