The swimming pool at Brandon Park will be closed indefinitely until mechanical problems are repaired, according to city recreation Director Justin Simpson.
The pool, which is for children ages 10 and under only, was scheduled to open at noon Saturday.
The nature of the mechanical problems was not disclosed by Simpson. That leaves East End Pool at Shaw Place Park on Sheridan Street as the only pool operational for public use in the city. Memorial Park Pool also is closed for the summer.
