Museum announces new summer hours

LOCK HAVEN - The Clinton County Historical Society has announced new opening hours for the Heisey Museum, 362 E. Water St. The museum will be open each Saturday in June from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Weekday hours are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Also during the Fly-In from June 20 to 23, the museum will be open each day for tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A shuttle will be available.

2nd blacksmith class offered

EAST CANTON - Due to overwhelming response, a second Blacksmith class will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Manley-Bohlayer Heritage Farm with Merele Eiffert, blacksmith and instructor.

To register for the class, call Gene Kennedy at 673-8133. There is a fee for the class.

Salvation Army to hold clearance sale

The Salvation Army Auxiliary will hold a clearance sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Thrift Store along West Fourth Street. All proceeds will be used locally and benefit Williamsport-area residents.

All clothing items will be $1 each.
