Marian Cero Frantz, of Lock Haven, Pa., passed away Friday, June 8, 2012, at 9:56 a.m. of natural causes. Marian recently celebrated her 92nd birthday with family.
She was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Mount Carmel, Pa., the daughter of Paul and Mary Cero. Marian married her husband, William, of more than 50 years and together they raised their family in the Williamsport area. The couple then retired to Albany, Ga., for the majority of their Golden Years. Marian chose to return to Pennsylvania last summer to be closer to the majority of her family.
Marian is survived by seven children, Harold (Joann) Frantz of Albany, Ga., Georgia Harris of Lock Haven, Pa., Charlotte (Kenneth) Sheppard of Nashville, Tenn., Alberta (Eugene) Duffield of Torrington, Wyo., Stanley Frantz of Lock Haven, Pa., Jon (Bonnie) Frantz of Strasburg, Va., and Carl Frantz of Avis, Pa. She is survived by 27 loving grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Marian is preceded in death by her husband, William C. Frantz, her parents and siblings, and three children, Marie Frantz, Paul Frantz and Barbara Caster.
