MANSFIELD - Samantha L. Colton, 21, of 385 Kennedy Road, Columbia Crossroads, was charged by state police with possession of drug paraphernalia and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle recently.
According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson's office, police found empty bindles used for packaging heroin in a vehicle Colton was driving without authorization on June 4 on Kennedy Road.
Police said they were dispatched on a call from her father, Randle S. Colton, who said she took the car without permission.
She was jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail and her preliminary hearing was held Wednesday.
