Announcement has been made of the engagement of Kristin Marie Umpstead and Curtis Lynn Hampton, both of Montoursville.
A spring 2013 wedding is being planned.
Umpstead is the daughter of Debra and Gary Umpstead, Williamsport. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2003. She is employed by Tillson Insurance Agency, Montoursville, as a licensed insurance producer.

Hampton is the son of Judy and Earl Hampton, South Williamsport, and Melanie and Richard McKee, Montoursville. He graduated from Loyalsock Township High School in 2004 and received a degree in street rod and custom fabrication from WyoTech, Blairsville, in 2005.
