Goldthwait-Eck

Samantha Marie Goldthwait, Big Flats, N.Y., and Taylor Michael Eck, Montoursville, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011.

They were married by the Rev. Steven Shinn at Celebrations, Ithaca, N.Y., where a reception also was held.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Joe's Italian Restaurant, Ithaca.

The bride is the daughter of Teresa and Gregory Goldthwait, Big Flats. She graduated from Horseheads High School, Horseheads, N.Y., in 2007, and received a bachelor's degree in communications from Mansfield University in 2010. She is employed by the Amish Experience, Lancaster, as operations manager.

Eck is the son of Brenda and Steven Eck, Montoursville. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2005 and received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration from Mansfield University in 2008. He is employed by York County as a deputy sherriff.

Maid of honor was Cassie Goldthwait, Big Flats, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Kelly Coppadge, Montoursville; Cassie Schon, Cogan Station; Katelyn Laurey and Shauna Michael, both of Horseheads; Brittany Knapp, Waverly; and Emily Hameza, Jermyn.

Flower girls were Cassidi and Kennidi TenEyck.

Ring bearers were Kaden TenEyck and Cameron and Elijah Eck.

Best man was Joshua Herman, West Milton.

Ushers were Dustin Eck, Maytown, and Jeremy Eck, Montoursville, brothers of the bridegroom; Jason Krieder, Montoursville; Tyler Stepanchick, Lancaster; and Scott Lambert, York.

Following a trip to Jamaica, the couple is residing in Mount Joy.
