Shannon K. Cowden, 37, of Cogan Station, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center surrounded by family, extended family and friends following a tragic accident at Grays Run.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, with her pastor, Msgr. Stephen D. McGough officiating followed by burial at Wildwood Cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Shannon's name may be made to, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Central PA Chapter, 55 S. Progress Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17109.
