Helen C. Hoffman, 93, formerly of Allentown, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012, in Grace Living Center, Oklahoma City, Okla. She was the wife of the late Robert M. Hoffman. Born in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Walter D. and Maude (Wettlauffer) Chapman. Helen attended Williamsport Business College and was employed at Hess's as a salesperson for 27 years prior to retiring in 1985.
Survivors include sons, Robert W., Emmaus, Gary A., Lawton, Okla., Harold R., Allentown, Donald, Palm Springs, Calif.; daughters, Kathryn H. Acker, Levittown; Nancie M. Mervis, Richmond, Va., Joan E. Hale, Allentown, Lynn C. Kubatko, Catasauqua; sister, Reta Biber, Trout Run; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Sons, Scott and George, preceded her in death.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday in Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 1335-37 W. Linden St., Allentown. Calling hours are from noon until service time. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
