At great expense to the American taxpayer, Eric Holder has made a long and lucrative career out of being the stooge lawyer of the Democrat Party. He will likely become a ridiculous disgrace to anyone other than Democrats, who believe his list of legal achievements make him a legend.
In 1999 as assistant Attorney General, Holder was instrumental in Bill Clinton's pardon of Democrat Party supporter Mark Rich, and the commuting of prison sentences for 16 members of the Puerto Rican FALN terrorist organization. FALN was a group that conducted a murderous bombing campaign along with other criminally seditious activity in the United States during the 1970's and 80's.
Mark Rich, a commodities trader, purchased oil from Iran while under U.S. embargo and resold it to American oil companies for 100% profit. For these and other reasons, Eric Holder is no friend to American citizens. Since he has been attorney general, he has added to his embarrassing legacy.
Consider the following accomplishments: Holder wanted to hold the trial for terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in civilian court in New York City, and trials for other war criminals in non-military venues across the United States. Subsequently, he failed to charge Fort Hood murderer Nidal Hasan with terrorism even though Hasan had guidance from Anwar al-Awlaki, a man targeted as a terrorist in a drone strike by the Obama administration.
In a move to promote the Democrat political agenda, Holder and his Justice Department sued the state of Arizona to keep them from trying to enforce immigration laws the federal government will not. Recently, the Governor of Florida requested the Homeland Security data file on illegal aliens in an effort to keep their voter rolls accurate and to keep those who shouldn't vote, from voting. The response is a lawsuit from Holder's Justice Department against Florida.
Ultimately, the most problematic stumble for Holder is the Fast and Furious gun running operation cover-up that now involves the White House, simply because Barack Obama is Eric Holder's boss. The issue is close enough to him that in a cavalier display of disdain for Congress, the President invoked Executive Privilege. The move was an act of self- preservation to protect himself from the People's request for the release of what are increasingly being presumed to be incriminating documents related to the program.
If things were normal, this should be a significant news story and damaging to Obama's re-election. Fast and Furious was a Democrat propaganda program gone terribly wrong, sadly resulting in the violent deaths of a Border patrol agent in Arizona, an ICE agent in Mexico and countless Mexican nationals. Eric Holder lied to Congress about the existence of the program and the president has previously denied knowledge of it. Now, unavoidably, because Holder is "his guy", all of this reflects negatively on Obama, who is ironically, a master in the "art" of plausible deniability.
The mere fact that Eric Holder is his Attorney General speaks volumes about who Obama really is, and isn't. In our history, American leaders have been deeply convicted in the belief that this is the greatest nation ever to exist. In contrast, this president never shared that conviction nor could his ideology be farther from it. Instead, Obama believes in a transformation to global government control over personal liberty and he uses his power as a tool, like a carpenter hammering a nail; pounding us all, including his unwitting loyal sheep, into submission.
This president has undoubtedly tried to move us into a divided and economically paralyzed socialist democracy, on purpose. I can find no redeeming qualities in liberalism and this episode is an example why. This group of bumblers has made a mockery of the White House and what it stands for. While we are being fed a daily dose of meaningless garbage by the immoral media, the unemployment rate is well over 8%, the White House could be leaking National Security secrets, our borders are wide open, Iran is moving to nuke warheads, and now this.
The sum total of Obama's "leadership" has produced no more than a divisive, unwanted, three-year battle to give free health care to a whopping 5 percent of the population. None of this should surprise anyone paying attention; this train wreck has been in the works since 2008. It's likely the real Obama is the small man who stood in front of those who hired him and with great indignation, pathetically spat forth that he was offended by reports that security leaks were coming from the White House.
Well, I'm offended that he's offended and I didn't need this added hogwash to be convinced of what I already knew. But what should have been expected from this man who has admitted to being a weak president, repeatedly acknowledging his inability to overcome the obstacles he believes others created? It's nothing more than what he is half a Senate term and two books.
This president's persona is phony, he's all made up; from his silly fib about Joe Biden being from a family of hard working miners, right up to recent revelations he made up multiple aspects of his life and family in his autobiography. Obama is an embellished literary effort created to elicit the imagery of a deep thinking man discovering his purpose in the world, and to romantically justify his idealism. Oh brother, what a story. We can't afford to see the last chapter.
