Announcement has been made of the engagement of Lisa Marie Baier, Harleysville, and Kyle Max Whitford, Hughesville.
A spring 2014 wedding is being planned.
Baier is the daughter of Barbara and John Baier, Harleysville. She graduated from Souderton Area High School and Bloomsburg University. She is employed by All My Children Learning Center, Souderton, as a teacher.
