BLOSSBURG - An 11-year-old girl was killed and five houses were either destroyed or damaged in the 100 block of Main Street in an early Sunday morning fire.
Tioga County Deputy Coroner Lisa Lindquist would not release her name but said an autopsy will be performed at Lehigh Valley Medical Center Monday.
"One sibling was sent to Williamsport (Regional Medical Center) with burns to the arm," Lindquist said.

Firefighters battle a blaze on Main Street in Blossburg Sunday morning that claimed the life of an 11-year-old girl.
There were no other injuries reported, but Lindquist said four families were left homeless.
Firefighters from Blossburg, Liberty, Mansfield, Wellsboro, Middlebury, Galeton, Canton, Tioga, Lawrenceville, Westfield, Middlebury Township, Chatham, Clymer and Morris responded to the 7 a.m. fire.
A state police fire marshal was on the scene trying to determine the cause.
