Roundup: Brandon moves past Montoursville

Skyler Colarusso fanned 11 batters after entering in the first inning in relief, helping Brandon to a 6-3 win over Montoursville in the District 12 Major Softball tournament Tuesday at Hepburn-Lyocming. Brandon will play Clinton in the District 12 championship Thursday at Volunteer Stadium in South Williamsport.

In Major Baseball, Montoursville blanked Nippenose 13-0 to advance into the second round of the loser's bracket. Nolan Ott was 4-for-4 with a home run.

Old Lycoming rebounded from a tough weekend loss, defeating Muncy 12-2. The loss eliminated Muncy.

A 10-run fourth inning ended Newberry's 14-3 win over Brandon.

South Williamsport scored in bunches, dowing Montgomery, 12-8.

In Minor Softball, Caitlin Cooper was 2-for-2 as Jersey Shore/GS beat East Lycoming, 12-1.
