Violet B. Lelek, 94, of Montoursville, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Valley View Nursing Center.
Born April 10, 1918, in Passaic, N.J., she was a daughter of Felix and Anella Sudol.
Violet was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She loved vacations with her family and playing with her five great-grandsons.
She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Walter F.; brothers John, Joseph and Walter Sudol; and sisters, Stella Labyack and Patricia Rodzewicz.
Surviving are two daughters, Eileen (William) Graham of Emerald Isle, N.C., and Karen (Daniel) Heitsenrether of Montoursville; four grandchildren, Seth (Akemi) Graham, Tokyo, Japan, Jennifer (Magnus) Ekman, San Francisco, Calif., Brent (Lisa) Heitsenrether, Montoursville and Amy (Daniel) McArthur, Fuquay-Varina, N.C.; five great-grandsons, Benjamin and Adam Heitsenrether, Avery and Gabriel McArthur and Sebastian Ekman.
Friends will be received at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 100 Walnut St., Montoursville, Pa., from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following the visitation. Her nephew, the Rev. Gerard Sudol, is celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook, N.J.
