A second arrest has been made in a state police case in which a mother assisted her son and a friend in disposing stolen items by dumping them in Loyalsock Creek in Montoursville.
Robert James Hoffman, 24, formerly of 2011 Round Top Road, Montoursville, has been charged with receiving stolen property for his alleged involvement in getting rid of stolen GPS devices and a stereo faceplace back on Jan. 5.
Hoffman, now living in Sunbury, was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman and committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Arrested last week in the same case was Shelly Lynn Walter, 48, of Muncy, who was charged with hindering apprehension, a felony, and obstructing the administration of law, a misdemeanor. She is free on $10,000 bail.
