Mary Louise Eck, 87, of Williamsport, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at her home.
Born Jan. 6, 1925, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Charles and Isabelle (Snyder) Foresman. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold R. Eck in 1976; a brother, Charles "Chubb" Foresman; and a sister, Betty Schmalachler.
Mary was a 1942 graduate of Williamsport High School and was a loving homemaker for her family. She enjoyed playing cards, ceramics and many outdoor activities. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Ascension Church.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen C. Eck (Dori), of Cogan Station, and Gary M. Eck (Denise), of Cogan Station; five grandchildren, Craig, Brenna, Kurt, Christa and Ashley; and three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Isabella and Lainey.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Montoursville. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Sanders Mortuary.
