JERSEY SHORE - Volunteer firefighters responded to a 310 Front St. residence and quickly extinguished a small fire on a back porch just after 11 p.m. Friday.
Citizen's Hose Fire Chief Matt Fausey said there were no injuries, and no one was displaced. He believed the property to be a two-unit apartment house. Damage was under $1,000. The cause of the fire remained under investigation, he said.
