July 1 - The Elusive Crappie, 2-3 p.m., west launch. Bring or borrow fishing equipment.

July 2 - Storytime with the Friendship Community Library, 7-8 p.m., pavilion no. 1.

July 5 - Nature for Toddlers series, 10-11:30 a.m. Designed for children ages 3 to 5. Advance registration required. Includes indoor and outdoor activities.

July 7-20 - Adventure Camp, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. DCNR is partnering with the YMCA for a special Adventure Camp. The affordable camp is filled with exciting activities such as kayaking, fly-fishing, biking, backpacking, GPS use and much more. Registration is required and only 15 spots are available.
