MILTON - Two woman were hospitalized with injuries they suffered when they were ejected from the Kubota cart they were in after it and a car collided at Route 405 and the Fort Boone Campground about 5:20 p.m. Friday, state police said.

The driver of the cart, Susan L. Roberts, 61, of Bloomsburg, was reported in fair condition in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, while her passenger, Nancy M. Leighow, 68, also of Bloomsburg, was reported in serious condition, according to a nursing supervisor.

The crash occurred in Northumberland County's Turbot Township.

Roberts' cart and a car driven by Belinda L. Ranck, of New Columbia, collided as Roberts pulled out of a driveway directly into the path of Ranck's southbound vehicle, police said. A passenger in the car, Dawn Rearick, 40, of Milton, suffered minor injuries, police said.
