Teenager allegedly vowed to kill man

July 2, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

Tanner John Blanksby, 18, of 663 Wildwood Blvd., faces criminal charges after he allegedly pointed a gun at another man and told him, "I'm going to put a bullet between your eyes," city police said.

The teenager pointed the weapon at Gary Shelby inside Shelby's home in the 1400 block of Memorial Avenue about 9 p.m. May 17, police alleged in court papers.

"I'm going to kill you, Gary," Blanksby told the man before fleeing the property, police said.

Following a preliminary hearing last week before District Judge James Carn, Blanksby was held for court on charges of terroristic threats and simple assault. He is free on $12,500 bail.
