Beverly J. (Richards) Linser, 76, of Muncy, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012, at the Williamsport Home. She was born Dec. 3, 1935, in Williamsport, a daughter of Leonard and Ruth Marie Hilliard Richards.
Beverly worked for the former Grants, Grumans, and General Dynamics. She attended of Bethany Lutheran Church in Montoursville, and enjoyed canasta, dominoes and bocce ball.
She is survived by her sons, Vincent T. Brower of Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Stephen W. Brower of Ohio; her daughters, Kimberly J. (Thomas) Smith of Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Tammy L. (companion, Jim Benedetto) Plaugher of Muncy; brothers, Bernard (Shirley) Richards of Dewart and Lawrence Richards of Williamsport; sisters, Linda (Ray) Bomboy of Cogan Station, Lois A. Yoder of Muncy and Joan M. (Phillip) Staccone of Pine Creek; seven grandchildren; two great-grand-children; and her dog, Nika.

The funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 369 Broad St., Montoursville, with the Rev. David B. Letscher officiating. Interment will follow in the Montoursville Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
