Florence I. Hall Egli

Florence I. Hall Egli, 90, of Hughesville, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born June 7, 1922, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late James and Sarah Barto Florey.

Florence was a member of the Huntersville United Methodist Church and previously a member of the Allegheny Grange. She was employed as a dietitian at Muncy Valley Hospital for several years and retired in 1988 from Brodart's, where she had worked for over 20 years.

Florence loved crocheting, needlepoint, baking, canning, traveling and above all, spending time with her family.

Surviving are two sons, John H. (Vivian) Hall of Benton and David L. (Bertha) Hall of Hughesville; two daughters, Betty M. Little of Picture Rocks and Mary E. Phillips of Muncy; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Florence was preceded in death by her first husband of 51 years, Raymond V. Hall; her second husband of 20 years, Frederick O. Egli; two brothers, William and Edward Florey; a sister, Meriam Florey; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. Larry L. Leland officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hughesville. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Flowers are welcome; however, memorial contributions may also be made to the Huntersville United Methodist Church, 658 Village Road, Pennsdale, PA 17756.
