A patient at Divine Providence Hospital landed in the Lycoming County Prison on an assault charge after he allegedly attacked another patient at the medical facility at 1100 Grampian Blvd., city police said.
Christopher J. Orce, 31, of Montague, N.J., punched the patient in the face, knocked him to the ground and then continued to punch him about 8:10 a.m. Monday, police said.
Following his arraignment before District Judge Allen P. Page III on charges of simple assault and harassment, Orce was jailed in lieu of $2,500 bail.
