Scott L. "Scotty Dog" Bartlett, 54, of Woodley Hollow Road, Muncy, died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.
Born March 7, 1958, in Williamsport, he was a son of Jack and Marysue (Gross) Bartlett, of Muncy.
A 1975 graduate of Manheim Township High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was stationed aboard the USS Midway. Following his discharge from the military, Scott worked in construction for various companies, including Milton Steel in Milton, Frys Plastic in Muncy and the former Poly-Growers, Inc., now Poly-Growers Greenhouse Construction in Muncy.

VETERAN
Scott loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing cards, and watching NASCAR races. Scott was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football fan.
Surviving in addition to his parents are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Heather and Chris Ashton of Palmerton, Crystal and Shawn Hoffer of Montandon and Amber Bartlett of Muncy; his long time partner, Jessica Swank of Muncy; one brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Angie Bartlett of Muncy; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Holly and Lon Singer of Montoursville and Heidi and Rodger Emery of Riverside; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10 at Grenoble's, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Ricky A. Phillips, pastor of Mazeppa Union Church. Full military honors will be accorded immediately following the service.
The family will provide the flowers, however; if desired, contributions may be made to Grenoble Funeral Home, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, PA 17756.
