Ida G. Waltz, 93, formerly of Trout Run, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at the Roseview Center.
Born Oct. 19, 1918, in Linden, she was a daughter of the late David and Beth Breed Gamble.
Ida was a sewing machine operator for the former Sharwell Manufacturing and retired from there in 1981 after 26 years of service.
Ida was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Marjorie B. Randall of Whitehall and Jean M. Mbule of Indiana; four grandchildren, Beth Koch and Rebecca Randall, Donna Barker and Timothy Randall; six great-grandchildren; and Mary Jane Waltz, widow of her son James.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar H. Waltz in 1958 and a son, James in 2000.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 2233 Linn St., Williamsport. There will be a viewing at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
