Roundup: Loyalsock tops Newberry in 10-11 Baseball playoffs

Loyalsock used two home runs in the first inning to down Newberry, 12-1 in 4 innings, to advance to the District 12 10-11-year-old Baseball championship game at Volunteer Stadium on Friday. Loyalsock scored 11 runs in the first inning and Anthony Pastore, Connor Watkins and Evan Nagy combined on the mound to throw a no-hitter, the second this postseason for Loyalsock.

Derek Gee helped lead Loyalsock's offense by going 2 for 3 with a double and home run while Nagy hit the other home run. Aiden Gair had two doubles in the win.
