Golfers may sign up now to participate in Evangelical Community Hospital's 26th Golf Classic on Aug. 17 at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club in Selinsgrove.
Shotgun starts are available at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. An entry fee applies and includes golf, cart, lunch and choices of breakfast or dinner.
The event features on-the-course contests and a chance to win a 2012 Ford Focus from Selinsgrove Ford with a hole-in-one on the course.
The event raises funds for Pre-Hospital Services - life-sustaining treatments performed by trained paramedics on-site at the scene of an emergency before the patient ever reaches the hospital.
"Over the past 26 years, this event has raised more than $730,000 for Evan's Pre-Hospital Services department. Numerous businesses and individual golfers have supported this event and it's great to see it continue to grow 2 1/2 decades later," Development Coordinator Heather Snyder said.
