Mary Lou Straub, 80, of 822 Funston Ave., died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center after being stricken at home.
Mary and her husband, Warren J. Straub, observed their 61st wedding anniversary on June 30, 2012.
Mary retired from the former Pennsylvania Wire Rope Co. and had also worked for Premier Linens, Eisley Swiss Screws and Weldon's.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and telling stories as well as camping, fishing, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing cards.
Born Nov. 28, 1931, in Salladasburg, she was a daughter of George J. and Amanda A. Edwards Sheets.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons, Michael (Judy), William (Kathy), Dennis (Cindy); daughters, Rebecca (Lee) Mitstifer and Carol (Lynn) Mitstifer; four brothers and two sisters; grandchildren, David (Stephanie) Mitstifer, Kevin (Tracy) Mitstifer, Jason Mitstifer, Wendy (Darick) Graham, Lori (Shane) Bower, Vanessa, Shelby and Jacob Straub; great-grand -children, Kaitlyn, Kiersten, Khloe, Matthew, Owen and Connor Mitstifer, Kaylee and Kendall Graham and Gage Kuhns.
Mary was predeceased by two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 16, at Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Ave., with Pastor Marian K. Anderson officiating. There will be a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Green Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 175 Pine St., or the American Lung Assoc., 1705 Warren Ave., Suite 202, both Williamsport, PA 17701.
