Jim Scott in concert
NORTHUMBERLAND - Jim Scott will appear in concert at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Susquehanna Valley, 265 Point Township Drive, Route 11, at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $10. Scott also will be at the Sunday morning service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Any singers are welcome to arrive at 9:15 a.m. and be a part of a choir singing with him during the service.

Prayer group meeting
JERSEY SHORE - Phelps Chapel United Methodist Church, Pine Creek exit off Route 220, will hold a prayer group at 11 a.m.
JULY 20
Ice cream social
NAUVOO - St. Paul's United Methodist Church, will sponsor an ice cream social starting at 5 p.m. at Nauvoo School House, six miles west of Liberty Route 15-Route 414 interchange. Also on the menu are sloppy joes, hot dogs, homemade ice cream, sundaes, banana splits, pies and beverages.
JULY 21
Ice cream festival
COGAN STATION - Balls Mills United Methodist Church, 5941 Bloomingrove Road, will hold an ice cream festival from 4-7 p.m. On the menu are sandwiches, french fries, homemade ice cream, pies and cakes.
Blueberry ice cream festival
Farragut Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, along Route 864 near the intersection with Route 87, will hold its annual blueberry ice cream festival from 4-7 p.m.
Blueberry festival
MONTGOMERY - St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church, Route 405, will hold a blueberry festival starting at 4 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Shannon Bitler.
JULY 22
Uprooted at coffee house
JERSEY SHORE - Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church, 235 S. Main St., will hold a coffee house from 6-9 p.m. featuring the band Uprooted and other local musicians. The cost is $5 for those over 12 years old, $2 for those 3-12 and free for those under 2.

Mom's morning out
LINDEN - Lycoming Christian Church will host Mom's Morning Out. Registration is due by July 20.
