Stanley Clarence Hammaker, 62, of 637 Campbell St., has been charged by state police with misdemeanor shoplifting after he was caught at Kmart, 1915 E. Third St., allegedly trying to flee with $55 worth of merchandise on May 12. It is his second offense.
Following his arraignment last week before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman, Hammaker was released on $2,500 bail.
