Jersey Shore received shutout pitching from Kaityln Cowfer and Jess Allen and won the Section 3 Junior Softball championship on Friday night with a 7-0 victory over Athens.
The District 12 champs advance to the state tournament that will begin for them in Berwick on July 26 after receiving a bye.
